You Were Always Meant To Be You

You were never meant to be who you think you are supposed to be.

Life was always supposed to break your heart. The path you walk was always meant to take the promise from you.

Because the promise was a fantasy, a nightmare in fancy clothes, and heartbreak is what wakes you up.

You were never meant to be who you think you are supposed to be.

You were always meant to be you.

Your soft flesh, your tender heart, your willingness to play. It’s always been enough. You’ve always been enough.

Stepping into your full power requires everything of you. You must let down your armor. You must be seen.

Love is calling you to let go of every single thing that is not the real you and that does not serve the real you. Even the things you hold dear. Even the masks you believe you are not enough without.

Love requires everything of you. Your highest self requires everything of you.

But in exchange, you get to experience your worthiness. You get to radically connect with others. You get to spend the rest of your life playing.

Let down your armor. Let yourself be seen plainly. Come out to the world as yourself.

Everything you’ve ever wanted is waiting on the other side.

If you want help taking off your armor and stepping into your full power, let’s talk.

I write from my raw experience. If my words give something to you, I am open for donations at cash app $justjordinjames and venmo @jordinjames.
